Kirk Andrés Wilson, hailing from Louisiana, USA, is not just a professional entertainer and jazz musician, but a true artist who captures the essence of soul in every note he plays. Born and raised near the vibrant city of New Orleans, Kirk's sound carries the rich flavors of the region, leaving audiences mesmerized.
One of his standout achievements is his single "Wonderful World," which soared to number 9 on the Billboard Top 100 Singles chart. This incredible success catapulted Kirk into the spotlight, showcasing his undeniable talent and passion for music. His debut CD, "My Love," has captivated listeners worldwide and can be found in retail and online stores, allowing his music to be cherished by fans everywhere.
Kirk's musical journey began at a young age within the embrace of his parent's gospel group, surrounded by the powerful influence of the church and his accomplished grandfather, who had the privilege of playing alongside the legendary Louis Armstrong for many years. It was in this nurturing environment that Kirk's unique musical character blossomed. He recalls, "In my house, it was either gospel or standards, and everyone in my family was a musician or a singer. My parents told me I was playing a broom at the age of 3, and it quickly was replaced with a guitar."
Eager to expand his musical horizons, Kirk pursued higher education with a full scholarship, double majoring in piano and guitar with a focus in jazz studies. His dedication led him to study under the tutelage of esteemed mentors such as, Mr. Ellis Marsalis, Mr. Alvin Batiste, Dr. David Evenson, and Mrs. Gretchen MaGee, a teacher renowned for instructing the legendary Bill Evans. Through his studies, Kirk honed his craft and mastered the rich heritage and influence of New Orleans, infusing his music with a soulful sound that resonates deeply within the hearts of his listeners. His repertoire spans across seven styles of Jazz, Delta and Chicago blues, and even touches of gospel and R&B.


Venturing from the vibrant streets of New Orleans to the bustling music scene of Los Angeles, Kirk quickly made a name for himself, collaborating with Grammy-winning artists such as Stevie Wonder, Ray Parker Jr., Norman Connors, and "The 1500 or Nothin' Band," a powerhouse musical collective behind the success of superstars like Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna, and Britney Spears. Kirk's remarkable talent continues to attract award-winning artists, expanding his network and contributing to his ever-growing list of accomplishments.
Beyond his live performances, Kirk has left his mark in Hollywood and Burbank recording studios, collaborating with renowned producers and lending his musical prowess to composing and recording jingles, demos, and box office motion films for New Line Cinema.
